Music In Action presents: Love Stories

Love Stories

Jersey Chamber Orchestra

Soloist: Anna Fedorova • Choir: Musical Originals

Conductor: Eamonn Dougan

Enjoy an evening of romance with some of the most passionate and uplifting music ever written while raising money for the Oscar Maclean Foundation.

The Jersey Chamber Orchestra is joined by international virtuoso pianist Anna Fedorova to perform Rachmaninov’s iconic Piano Concerto No 2. Her performance of this piece is Youtube’s most watched classical concerto, so an opportunity to hear her live is not to be missed!

A whirlwind exploration of Love Stories, the programme includes music by Verdi, Elgar, Mendelssohn, Delius, and the King of the Waltz, J. Strauss II. The award-winning Musical Originals choir joins the orchestra for music by Barber, Weir, and a new setting of an old favourite from Lenny Sayers.

Please note the change to the original programme.

Three local children’s choirs and a string quartet from the orchestra take a relaxed, informal approach to Love Stories in a Family Concert at lunchtime.

The concerts are generously supported by Mulberry Property Management and UBS Wealth Management Jersey
