Jersey Writers is a not-for-profit organisation offering support and networking opportunities to new and experienced writers in Jersey whilst promoting members’ work through events, readings, online marketing and traditional PR. The group have just published Once Upon an Island, an anthology of short stories based on Jersey’s heritage.
This event will feature a presentation on the work of the Jersey Writers’ group followed by author readings from Once Upon an Island, a collection of short stories offering a glimpse into Jersey’s history and the people who have lived it. At the Jersey Heritage Museum you will be entertained with local tales of murder, love, wartime and peace from prehistoric through to contemporary times.
