For its traditional concert in the Berlin Waldbühne, the Berliner Philharmoniker will be rounding off the season with a full programme including performing with conductor Sir Simon Rattle and pianist Lang Lang as soloist in Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor.
The concert will be dedicated to the genre of film with excerpts from some of Holywood’s most famous scores including John William’s Harry Potter and E.T., Miklós Rózsa’s Ben Hur, and Ben Herrmann’s music for Hitchcock’s The Trouble with Harry, Vertigo, Marnie and Psycho.
