This poignant evening of music and poetry, produced in association with The Imperial War Museum, is touring theatres, arts centres and festivals to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War.

Highly acclaimed actor Robert Powell reads from the letters and poems of Wilfred Owen. They are works that reveal the very essence of the courage and humanity that triumphed over the worst possible conditions of war.

The readings are interspersed with live performances of sonatas by Elgar and Debussy performed by internationally renowned musicians; violinist Matthew Trusler and pianist Martin Roscoe.
