After the sell out of ‘A Night at the Spanish Oscars’ we are pleased to return with another night of well known blockbusters.
Allow the Jersey Chamber Orchestra to take you on a journey of enthralling classical music from well know movies. The evening is in support of The Oscar Maclean Foundation, a charity which supports community projects and services in Jersey that benefit young people and their families who are suffering from cancer and other chronic diseases.
The programme will include music such as Handel’s Fireworks Music (Johnny English) amd Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring (Minority Report).
We are delighted to welcome the incredible pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet who will performing Beethoven Emperor Piano Concerto No 5 as a soloist. The Jersey Chamber Orchestra is will be led by the acclaimed conductor Graham Walker who is currently Director of Music at Magdalene College, Cambridge.
